ECONOMIC GROWTH MEASURES ARE HELPING SMALL BUSINESSES LEAD AMERICA'S ECONOMIC RECOVERY

Washington, D.C. - Small businesses, often at the forefront of economic growth, are meeting with Republican House leadership to discuss legislation that could further stimulate the economy.

Marian Sabety, president and CEO of Flywheel Group, will be representing the National Small Business Association at the briefing today at 10:00 a.m. in Room HC-7 of the U.S. Capitol.

The Flywheel Group was founded in 2000 by Sabety, who has worked in the telecommunications and high technology sectors for over 20 years. Flywheel engages in Homeland Security Consulting, with expertise in wireless technology.

The emphasis of the Republican leadership on security and readiness planning has spurred Flywheel growth. Though Flywheel has not yet been awarded a government contract following registration in GSA, the GSA status has assisted the company in winning business.

Sabety will discuss the effect the Jobs and Growth Tax Package, expanded Section 179 expensing, and repeal of the Estate Tax has on her business.

"This isn't rocket science - when you invest in small businesses, we invest in our communities through larger purchases, greater use of support services, increased productivity, and most importantly, more jobs," said Sabety. "When you increase taxes on small businesses, we simply cannot afford the benefits of economic growth."
